Christina McKenna
Strategic communications coach Christina McKenna brings experience from both sides of the media firing line to provide clients with an insider’s perspective on how the most successful communicators captivate audiences, control the message and influence outcomes.
During 12 years as a TV anchor and reporter, McKenna interviewed thousands of newsmakers, from George W. Bush to Hillary Clinton to John McCain to Britney Spears, covering some of the world’s most influential politicians, business leaders and celebrities as they confronted crises in the glare of the public eye. Later, McKenna took her journalism experience to the other side of the microphone, as the spokesperson for a Fortune 500 company, publicly representing it through a series of high-profile crises while devising the strategy that helped the company not only survive, but thrive in the face of public scrutiny.
McKenna provides clients with both strategic and tactical tools to better leverage all communication. From message development, question management, and debate preparation to posture, wardrobe and makeup consulting—McKenna’s straightforward coaching style helps professionals create positive impressions, diffuse negative attention and steer public perceptions in a favorable direction.
